From the UK Fly direct to Halifax International Airport from either Heathrow or Gatwick. The main airlines are:

From North America and Canada If not travelling by airline to Halifax,then from the US take Interstate #95 up through New York state, Massachusetts and Maine until you pick up Highway #2 on the US/Canadian border. This will take you to Amherst and then on to Highway #104 where you pick up Route #6 towards Tatamagouche. From the rest of Canada follow Highway #20 to Quebec, take route #185 from Edmunston where you will pick up Highway #2 to Amherst.
